Privacy Policy

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — name, email address, phone number, business name, trade type, and password (stored hashed), provided when you sign up.
• Customer information you enter — names, phone numbers, email addresses, service addresses, and notes about customers and jobs you manage with TradesAI.
• SMS and call data — when the AI receptionist answers a missed call or texts a customer on your behalf, we store the call metadata (caller phone, time, duration), the SMS transcript, and any photos the customer sends.
• Job content — invoices, estimates, photos, voice notes, and other content you create in the Service.
• Payment information — handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Device and usage data — IP address, device type, operating system, app version, crash logs, and feature usage, collected automatically when you use the Service.

• To provide and operate the Service.
• To run the AI receptionist — generating SMS replies, scheduling estimate visits, and routing customer photos to you.
• To send transactional messages (booking confirmations, payment receipts, account notices).
• To improve features, fix bugs, and analyze how the Service is used in aggregate.
• To meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the third-party processors listed below, each used for a specific operational purpose:

• Supabase — database hosting and authentication.
• Twilio — voice calls and SMS delivery.
• Anthropic — Claude AI model used by the receptionist and copilot to generate responses.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Railway — backend application hosting.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a corporate transaction (such as a merger or acquisition), in which case the recipient must honor this Privacy Policy.

We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, tax records related to invoices).

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS in transit, encryption at rest, role-based access controls, and row-level database security to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal information at any time by emailing support@aitradesjob.com. We will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to restrict or object to certain processing.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice.
